Most of you are aware that Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) will not be offereing RV sites on the River or Queen City Park in 2008, however; we are not discontinuing our RV program.  We will be offering RV parking spaces at the Ray C. Jenkins Multipurpose Arena located at Sokol Park and limited sites inside the main entrance to Sokol Park.  Some of the sites will offer water hookups and 110volt - 20 amp - outlets plus we have a permanent restroom facility on site.  Sites will be numbered and spaces will be assigned/reserved.

Sokol park is approximately 5 miles from the UA campus.  While staying at Sokol Park or Ray C. Jenkins Multipurpose Arena you can enjoy the walking and bike trail.  Also directly across the road is PARA's Ol' Colony Golf Complex which is opened to the public.  It is considered to be one of the best golf courses in the country.  Golf Digest ranked Ol' Colony fifth in "Best New Public Courses in America" rating for 2001.
