PARA activity center annual memberships are available for individuals, couples, families and seniors.  They include year round access to common-use areas such as exercise equipment and facilities, indoor walking tracks, game rooms and indoor therapeutic and recreational pools. Membership qualifies you to use any of the five activity centers. 

Membership applications may be submitted at any center or the administrative office.

Center Membership Types & Rates

Family    $125 per year

Family defined as up to 2 adults and up to 4 dependents (total – 6 persons).  A dependent is a person under age 21 residing at the same address or listed on previous year’s income tax statement. $5 per dependent for each additional dependent after 4 in family.

Couple    $100 per year
Couple defined as a married couple or single parent and 1 dependent under age 21 residing at the same address or listed on previous year’s income tax statement.

Individual    $85 per year
Individual defined as a person age 16 or older

Senior Citizen    $85 (couple) or $60 (individual)
Senior citizen defined as someone age 55 or older.  For Senior Citizen couple rate, both people must be age 55 or older.

Casual User    $4 per visit
Age 3 and under no fee.  Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person (age 16 or older) at all times

Non-Resident Fee
Fees for membership or casual users for non-Tuscaloosa County residents are double the amounts listed above.

Registration
One time registration fee of $5 for all new memberships

Outdoor Pool Memberships
Memberships for PARA’s three outdoor pools are available for use between May and August each year for $180 per family of six or $80 per individual.  Daily admission is $5 per person.  For more information visit the pools section of our site.
