The McDonald Hughes Community Center was acquired by PARA in December 1997 and a new addition was dedicated on June 13, 1999.   Features include a gym with multipurpose flooring, a cardiovascular fitness area, a large multipurpose banquet hall that divides into two separate areas, a conference room, multipurpose rooms, a craft room, a catering kitchen and a commercial kitchen.  Three outdoor regulation ballfields are located in the park adjacent to the center.
